Add Mavrick to your Slack workspace, connect your first integration, and run your first command.
Mavrick lives in Slack. Installation takes about 30 seconds — no IT ticket, no deployment, no infrastructure. This guide walks through getting set up from scratch.
Step 1: Add Mavrick to Slack
- 1.Click the 'Add to Slack' button on getmavrick.com or the install page.
- 2.You'll be taken to Slack's OAuth flow. Select your workspace from the dropdown.
- 3.Review the permission scopes Mavrick requests. Click Allow.
- 4.You'll be redirected back to Mavrick. Your workspace is now connected.
Mavrick only reads messages in channels it's explicitly invited to. It has no access to DMs, private channels, or channels where it hasn't been invited.
Step 2: Invite Mavrick to a channel
We recommend starting with a dedicated #mavrick-ops channel or your existing #marketing or #growth channel. You can invite Mavrick to multiple channels — each channel operates independently.
Step 3: Connect your first integration
This opens a connection panel where you can authenticate each platform via OAuth. Each connection is isolated to your workspace — your tokens are never shared with other Mavrick customers.
